Snowbird
Sunday 5 March 1989

Weather

Bright sun, blue skies.

Conditions

Very similar to previous day, with a little fresh snow overnight.

Overall

This was the day that more or less guaranteed that I would want to ski again.

A couple of runs on arrival consolidated the results of the previous day and then another half day lesson reinforced the confidence.

By the end of the day I was able to link turns and ski from top to bottom of Chikadee run, although it did take a lot of effort and was pretty tiring.

At lunchtime I was tempted to try to go somewhere different on the mountain but didn't. Perhaps that was as well because the nursery slope was great for confidence, but I was somewhat disappointed when I finished.

Easy Runs

Chickadee

Runs

Lift Vertical
